So far only been sidelined twice for freight trains. Really this is the best way to travel! The views are amazing! Also just passed the west bound train heading to KC

In B4 amtrack joke in poor taste. In truth, we went to Norway on our honeymoon in part because we heard that traveling on the train from Oslo to Bergen was so cool. It was.

I will take the train whenever time (and price) allows. I once did Chicago to DC in a sleeper car and it was one of the best travel experiences in my life.

I’ve done the Alton to Chicago route before. Not a bad way to travel.

Kansas City Union Station. It's hidden on Track 29

Well when you have seen the same stretch of road a few hundred times and you are going to get another car the Train is the best. I mean car is amazing to an extent but the trains let you see the hidden gems of America

I want to take a long distance train one of these days, but I don’t think I’ll have the time for it (even without massive delays due to freight traffic) until I retire in 40 years. Maybe I should just ship myself in a container on one of the high priority intermodal runs.
